Skyline Design Maintenance & Care

FURNITURE MAINTENANCE
Weaving: with polyethene fibres made to meet outstanding specifications for all-weather outdoor furniture. Virtually maintenance-free properties for carefree living. UV resistant, weatherproof and temperature resistant, colourfast, strong and long-lasting, environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.

Easy care: For light cleaning, just rinse with clean water to remove dust. For deep cleaning, clean water, a mild soap solution and a medium bristle brush will remove all dirt, rinse with clean water. You can also use a power wash if needed.

Poly Straps & Rope: Clean with clean water and soap solution with a soft cloth or soft bristle brush; be careful not to cause fraying. Poly straps and rope can be power washed for effective deep cleaning.

Aluminium: Near perfect material for outdoor furniture, it is lightweight, durable and does not rust. Skyline only use the best Aluminium, powder coated to ensure a surface resistant to knocks and scratching. For easy care, we recommend washing down with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaner or application to avoid scratching.

Teak: An excellent outdoor timber and perfect for outdoor furnishing. Resistant to decay due to natural oils and strong nature, repels water, and resists warping and shrinkage. In order to maintain your Teak, we recommend cleaning with clean water and PH-neutral soap. Over time, your Teak will fade to a silvery grey colour. To bring back to its rich original colour, we recommend the application of Teak oil to the surface to renew its rich colour and texture.

PROTECTION COVERS
Protection covers: Made to make your life easier, protection covers protect your furniture from the elements and keep your outdoor furniture clean and fresh when and ready for use. Protection covers will reduce your need to clean your furniture and keep everything dry. Skyline design protection covers are tailored to each design, so they are a comfortable fit and very easy to apply and remove. They are 100% waterproof; using our seam welding production process means no water can seep through, even through the seams. Great for long periods of storage, your furniture will be as clean and fresh as the day you covered it. We do not recommend cushions are stored over winter in damp/wet climates under the covers as moisture can accumulate, causing mould and mildew on your cushions. WATERPROOF LINERS
Waterproof liners: This helps to keep your cushion foams from saturation even in the heaviest of prolonged rain. Invisible to the eye, they fit between your chosen cushion fabric and the foam filling. If water penetrates your cushion covers, it cannot then pass through the waterproof liner, giving the benefit of quicker drying after heavy rain. Available at an extra cost, please ask for details.
